[Case Study] Management of Temporary Equipment Using UHF Band RFID Tags

Significant improvements in record keeping, location management, and usage history! Here is an introduction to a case study from a certain temporary equipment rental company.

We will introduce case studies of IC tags and labels that can be used on-site, which our company handles. A certain rental company for temporary equipment was recording the lending and returning of numerous rental items using barcodes, but it took a long time to read each one, and there were many issues such as the labels being dirty and unreadable. Additionally, when considering the use of UHF-band metal-compatible tags, there were several conditions such as the ability to withstand high-pressure washing, impact resistance, and long-term outdoor durability, all of which were resolved by introducing FR4 metal-compatible tags. [Challenges Before Implementation] ■ Lending and Return Processing - It took a long time to read each barcode, and there were instances where the barcode could not be read due to dirt on the surface, resulting in significant labor costs. ■ Location and History Management - There were frequent instances of record omissions during lending and return processing, leading to unknown locations and inaccurate usage history, making proper maintenance difficult. ■ Inventory - In recent years, there have been strict criticisms during accounting audits regarding omissions in asset recording, but inventory takes an enormous amount of time. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Seal-type RFID tag "Stick Pro Series"

Demonstrates resistance to peeling in various environments. A lineup of types that are strong against water exposure, low temperatures, and ultraviolet rays.

The "Haru Pro Series" is a seal-type RFID tag developed by our company utilizing our expertise in label processing and adhesive technology. We offer a variety of RFID tags suitable for actual usage environments, starting with eight types: "water-resistant," "water-resistant (pouch)," "outdoor weather-resistant," "heat-resistant," "low-temperature resistant," "chemical-resistant," "oil-resistant," and "tamper-proof." We can also accommodate changes in adhesive strength and size, making them usable in a wide range of environments, including factories, warehouses, engine rooms, freezers, and outdoors. 【We solve the following problems】 ■ The adhesive is too strong when I want to remove it later. ■ The label breaks easily because heavy items are placed on it. ■ The label is too large to stick. *For more details, please refer to the materials available for download in PDF format. ★ We also offer printers that can internalize tag printing. Please check the basic information for the lineup and features.

UHF band RFID tags for reagent, culture medium, liquid medicine, and specimen management

By utilizing RFID wireless technology, it is possible to recognize visible information even when it is obscured by frost, dirt, or smudges, thereby preventing mix-ups and ensuring safe and reliable management.

The tags for managing reagents, culture media, chemical solutions, and samples are UHF band RFID labels. They can be affixed to contents with a high liquid or moisture content, allowing for identification, and are used for the management of chemical solutions and reagents that require strict handling, as well as culture media and samples where mix-ups are not permitted. [Features] By utilizing magnetic field communication that is less affected by liquids, moisture, and container materials in UHF band wireless technology, the following features are available: - Prevention of mix-ups through reliable individual identification. - Detection of combination anomalies through rapid recognition of multiple tags, such as 100 tags at once. - Recognition even in cases of visible information anomalies such as frost, dirt, or smudges. [Application Support] Label sizes, shapes, surface materials, and adhesives can be tailored to your specific application needs, utilizing label processing technology for our proposals. For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[DX Promotion] What is the RFID Utilization Detacolle Service #4

In RFID-based automatic identification systems, "tag selection" is a very important point.

The "RFID Utilization Data Collection Service" is an RFID data collection platform that gathers data to understand the on-site situation and transfers this data to a system that utilizes it. This time, we will introduce tags with distinctive features in UHF band RFID, which can sometimes be challenging when selecting tags. At SeaRex, we conduct the selection and development of tags suitable for our customers' applications and uses as part of our "RFID and IC Tag Solutions." The development of our Pro Series, which utilizes years of seal and label technology, is one such example. *For detailed content of the column, you can view it through the related links. 5 Selected RFID Tags: Make Your Next Inventory Quick and Smart

The biggest concern when utilizing RFID is the selection of RFID tags, but we will introduce five specially selected tags.

Even with proper management, inventory involves tasks like "counting" and "searching." "I want to finish it quickly without taking too much time." "Depending on the business, daily checks of supplies and tools are necessary." "Visual confirmation, manual input check sheets, and report entries. I want to automate this with digital solutions." If you have such concerns, utilizing RFID for asset management might be a solution. At C-Rex, we offer a "rental and trial service" to help you determine whether RFID utilization is appropriate. Based on our extensive experience providing RFID tags, devices, and software for numerous cases over the years, we have prepared a simple package for you to try out. *You can view the detailed content of the column through the related links. Metal tools management, RFID tags suitable for managing jigs, parts, and materials.

Utilizing small metal-compatible UHF band RFID tags! We also introduce a video demonstrating the reading of three types of tags with different sizes.

This time, while confirming the basic content of UHF band RFID tags compatible with small metals, we will introduce a comparison of catalog information for three types of FR4 substrate tags of different sizes, as well as the operational status when placed on a metal (SUS) plate and read with a handheld reader. A "metal-compatible tag" is a tag designed to function even when attached or adhered to metal (conductive) surfaces. Tags that are not compatible with metal, when attached or adhered to metal, will have their antennas affected by the metal, preventing them from properly receiving signals from the reader/writer, resulting in a failure to generate power, and the tag IC will not operate. *For detailed content of the column, please refer to the related links. Magnet Mount Metal-Compatible UHF Band RFID Tag

Effective for managing molds, steel materials, jigs, etc.! The practical use of magnet-mounted RFID tags.

We would like to utilize RFID for the management of molds, steel materials, and jigs, but we often encounter situations where there are challenges in using RFID in their original application scenarios. This may be due to environmental considerations or issues related to shape and size (protrusions), which often prevents us from meeting customer requests. One example of this is in inventory management, stocktaking, and searching during use for molds, steel materials, and jigs, where the action of "removing RFID tags from metal management targets" occurs. However, there are cases where we prioritize the overall reduction of man-hours and utilize "magnet-mounted RFID tags." This time, we would like to introduce the "magnet-mounted RFID tags." *For detailed content of the column, you can view it through the related links.
